Life. On the road.
RVing is a perfect metaphor for life. No matter your plans, you never know what’s just around the bend.
Alan (or Al)
Six Sigma Master Black Belt, certified Black Belt, and all around process improvement guru. He’s thankful for the great opportunity his last employer gave him when he was laid off after 16 years of faithful service. It was the best thing that could have ever happened.
Veronica (V, Vlic, Roni, Bero, or Vern)
Ex-interpreter for the Deaf, Current graduate student working towards her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a crochet extraordinaire. She’s learning that waiting is not doing nothing, but instead, a rich activity full of learning opportunities.
Bernard (Barnyard, Barnyardicus, or The Pee-pee Boy, a.k.a the Dogson)
A ten pound Chihuahua/Dachshund spitfire, you can never tell if he wants you to pet him, or he wants you near enough to rip out your throat. He sits on his haunches and begs either way. Basically, he thinks everyone is a mortal enemy until they sit down in our home for the first time. So, if you come by, make sure to sit and visit a spell. He’ll be your best friend after that. Then you can help us play fetch with the boy. He. Never. Stops.
Jasmine (the pig, cow, horse, goat, bat dog, a.k.a the Dogter)
A thirteen pound Chihuahua/Jack Russell rescue, she came to us extremely timid. She’s getting better and now wants to meet every dog and person she comes across. But only if she can sniff them from behind first. After that she’ll want to sit in your lap and give you kisses. She’s finally stopped destroying balls and is learning to bring them back.
